Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks for your interest in volunteering. There are many opportunities throughout the year to assist the PTA and TBEF with events that are fun for our children and raise money for our school.

Please see the Tierra Bonita Volunteer page for information on volunteer requirements.

We are looking for those interested in assisting in the LRC in both the computer lab and library. You do not need any special computer training for this position. Sign up for a vacant time slot online, either during the time your child’s class is in the LRC or during any other time slot that works for you!

Our teachers have so appreciated all of the help parents have provided in the volunteer office already this year! The valuable work done by volunteers here allows our teachers to continue to serve our kids rather than being bogged down by clerical duties. If you are able to take a slot in the permanent volunteer office schedule, please sign up online!

Lastly, you all know how smoothly morning drop-off runs when we have many smiling volunteers opening doors and assisting children out of the car in a safe and speedy manner. If you have time available to volunteer as a C.D.O. (Car Door Opener), please click the link to sign up. Your kids are welcomed to help you out as Jr. C.D.O.’s! Remember, pull all the way forward.

For questions on any of these volunteer opportunities, contact Rachel Allums at 513-2585 or rachelallums@yahoo.com.

Volunteering demonstrates to our children the importance of community involvement and your commitment to their education. Please read through the available opportunities and find your place on the team.
